How Beliefs Work

Imam Ali (AS): "Whoever has identified his self in reality has recognized his Creator."

Nuh (AS) and his followers were safe on the ark, but one of his own sons and his wife were among the disbelievers destroyed, teaching us that it is faith, not blood, that bonds us together.

Iqbal
Kham Hai Jab Tak To Hai Mitti Ka Ek Anbar Tu
Pukhta Ho Jaye To Hai Shamsheer-E-Bezanhar Tu

While you are still immature, you are a heap of dust;
When you ripen (seasoned), you will become an irresistible sword.

Al-Baqara (The Cow) [2:216]
Fighting is ordained for you, even though it be hateful to you; but it may well be that you hate a thing the while it is good for you, and it may well be that you love a thing the while it is bad for you: and God knows, whereas you do not know.

Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:179
And surely, We have created many of the jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones.

Al-Furqan (The Criterion) 25:44
Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay,— they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle).

Habeel owned a flock of sheep while Qabeel was a farmer. Habeel sacrificed the best ram from his flock. Qabeel on the other hand was careless of his occupation and offered uncleaned ears of corn and bad quality crop as gifts to Allah. Consequently the sacrifice of Habeel was accepted and that of Qabeel wasn’t.
Qabeel accepted the suggestion and killed Habeel. He came to Adam (a.s.) who asked him where Habeel was. Qabeel said, “I don’t know, you did not entrust him to me.”

Merit of Scholar; Imam al-`Aaskari (AS), in his description of evil scholars, said, ‘They cause more harm to the weak ones from among our shi`aa than the army of Yazid did to Husayn b. Ali (AS) and his companions, for they snatched away (grab, seize, steal) their lives and their property, whereas these evil scholars … enter doubt and obscurity (ambiguity) into the weak ones from among our shi`aa and lead them astray (wandering).’

Poisoned Society
Allama Iqbal explains to his father, 'I (Allama Iqbal) has no objection on the personality of Hafiz. I have just described an opinion. Sorry to say but my country Muslims have become so skeptical and cynical that they use lethal poison as life water'.

Difficulties keep a built in beauty which is impossible without them. The Cocoon of Butterfly is an example.

‘These guys didn’t fail because of their lack of hard work or anything; they failed because they just didn’t understand fault lines and how gold seams operate. The gold will be less than three feet from where they are currently digging’.

And so, the junk guy starts up the machinery, just changed the direction a little bit, dug for three feet and struck one of the richest seams of the Colorado gold rush.

A mentally sick person became a rescuer to a worn out businessman by handing over to him an envelope with a cheque of $500,000. Good words work like a live support.
